History: A Very Factual Description of Violet's life

Character's Fears:
Most of Violets fears have already come true. Her parents are dead, having perished in a terrible fire. The person they're sent to live with, their new guardian who was supposed to look after her and her siblings, turned out to be a horrid man who was only interested in gaining her fortune. And when Count Olaf was found out for what he was and they were placed in the care of new guardians... Well, both Uncle Monty and Aunt Josephine were killed by Count Olaf. And not too soon after, her brother was hypnotized and she had no idea how to help him.

Needless to say, Violet lives in a constant state of fear. Fear that Count Olaf will kill more people who they become close to.
Fear of being useless and unable to prevent bad things from happening. Fear of what Count Olaf will do if his plans succeed. Fear of her siblings getting hurt when it's her job, as the oldest, to protect them. Violet has a lot to be afraid of.

Character's Hopes:
Violet knows it's impossible for her parents to come back. And so, failing that, a safe place. A place away from danger, away from Count Olaf, a place with people who want and care for her and her siblings. She also wants answers. Her parents were a part of something, but no one is in any hurry to explain to them what. They died because if it, and they think they deserve the right to know what it was.
